Autumn weddings Bassmead Manor – by Jinjabird. Jules and Tim chose a beautiful autumn day last October to get married at the stunning Bassmead Manor Barns in Cambridgeshire. One of my favorite wedding venues. Tim arrived in style being chauffeured in a custom hot rod built by one of his ushers. The car was parked in the courtyard and attracted a lot of attention from the guests. Jules had got ready in the bridal boudoir helped by all of her bridesmaids – all six of them. She looked fantastic in her lovely dress and veil especially next to her girls who wore purple. Once all the guests were seated in the old barn there was live music and ballet before Jules was led down the aisle by her brother. The ceremony was in two parts with the official registration first and then a humanist ceremony after. The later also involved the naming of Jules and Tim’s son Harley. When everything was finished a beaming Jules and Tim walked proudly down the aisle and out into the warm sunshine carrying Harley. Then it was congratulations all round and time to start celebrating the occasion with drinks and canapes. More live music took place before everyone made their way into the New Barn for the wedding breakfast. Jules made a great speech followed by Tim and his best-man. After the meal everyone was in high spirits and keen to get the evening party going. Once the cake was cut and the bouquet was tossed Jules and Tim did their first dance together as husband and wife joined on the floor by some very boisterous guests. The evening finished with lots of dancing and plenty of party atmosphere.
