November wedding Bassmead Manor – Natalie & Simon
November wedding Bassmead Manor – by Jinjabird. It was a very cold November day when Natalie and Simon got married last month at Bassmead Manor Barns in Cambridgeshire. The day had an autumnal feel with bright and sunny weather, which meant that despite the cold, everything looked very pretty both inside and out. I really liked Natalie’s choice of dress and hairstyle, with lace on her arms and flowers in her hair. She made a beautiful bride and got ready with the help of her bridesmaids and flower girls in the Boudoir. When Simon arrived he was already dressed in his suit and only had to finish off the buttonholes and exchange of gifts for his ushers. When Natalie saw everyone arriving and making their way into the Rickety Barn for the wedding ceremony she welled up. The pageboy was Ollie, Natalie and Simon’s son and they were delighted to be able to include him in their special day. Especially when all three came down the aisle together after the ceremony and made their way outside to be greeted by their friends with lots of confetti. I am not sure Ollie quiet knew what was going on but he looked happy enough. The New Barn and bar area looked even better than usual due to the coloured lights that had been placed around the venue. The garden in particular looked really good later when it got dark with all the extra lighting on the trees and bridge. A Photo Booth Camper Van arrived after the wedding breakfast and despite the cold outside provided amusement for nearly all of the guests who ventured out at some point. The evening party got underway with sparklers in the garden and then a fantastic wedding band provided the music for the evening dancing.
