October wedding Bassmead Manor – Louise & Richard
October wedding Bassmead Manor – by Jinjabird. The month of October started well for me with the wedding of Louise and Richard at Bassmead Manor Barns in Cambridgeshire. I had met Louise and Richard back in the spring when we talked about their plans and ideas for the day. One of the things that I would recommend to consider when thinking about keeping your guests entertained is a magician. Someone who I work with a lot is Matthew Le Motte from Cambridge. He is one of the best magicians I have seen and his close up magic is just fantastic. Matthew did not disappoint and I loved the look of disbelief on Richard’s face during the grand finale of a magic trick when Matthew pulled a card from a block of ice. Louise and Richard had a wedding guest who did a short set singing some great medleys. We were lucky that the weather was perfect with warm sunshine and very little wind. The autumn colours in the garden and on the bridge across the moat were beautiful. Its always nice to be able to spend time outside on your wedding day especially at a venue as lovely as Bassmead Manor. No one wants rain at their wedding. Richard’s father did some of the wildest dad dancing I have ever seen from a man of his years. In fact there were a few of the older guests that really let their hair down on the dance floor along with some of the younger ones who did not do too badly either. Rob from Stobo Disco was on form as usual with some fabulous music. What a great day it was for Louise and Richard and their family and friends.
