Marquee wedding Cambridgeshire – Emma & Sam
Marquee wedding Cambridgeshire – by Jinjabird. Emma and Sam were married at St Mary’s Church in Over and then had a marquee wedding reception in Emma’s parents garden. Emma started the day getting ready with her bridesmaids at home. Emma’s family were all there making last minute adjustments and ensuring everything was ready for the arrival of the wedding guests. They had planned on transporting everyone to the nearby Church in specially decked out wagons. By the time I left Emma to meet Sam people were starting to arrive. When I got to the Church Sam and his best man were waiting alongside a beautifully restored vintage tractor. I think Sam may have arrived on it. The ceremony was held by a lovely lady vicar. Over the years I have unfortunately met some very nasty people masquerading as celebrants, but I am glad to say that these days they seem to be few and far between. Emma and her bridesmaids looked fantastic and I am sure Sam was blown away when he saw Emma coming down the aisle. It was the first wedding I have photographed where the Bride and Groom left the Church driving a tractor. Sam’s father runs a marquee hire business and had provided a wonderful marquee. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and amount of work that had gone into making everything look amazing. The glorious summer weather had everybody lazing around in the sunshine before everyone was called into dinner, which consisted of a huge buffet with a fantastic spread. Emma and Sam took turns serving behind the bar during the evening much to the amusement of their guests. The day was finished off with some great music form an excellent band called Superstition.
