Wedding photographer Christs College Cambridge – Maria & Agustin
Wedding photographer Christs College Cambridge – by Jinjabird. Maria and Agustin held their wedding in two beautiful Cambridge wedding venues. The ceremony was at Christ’s College with the reception at the nearby Downing College. It was my first time to Christ’s College and I was really taken with the beautiful architecture and gardens. Like most of the Cambridge Universities the buildings and grounds were immaculate and a pleasure to experience. Maria got ready with her family in a nearby house whilst Agustin and his best men got dressed at his home. The wedding ceremony took place in the College chapel and included a reading from Agustin’s father. Afterwards Maria and Agustin took a short while to walk around the grounds. It was a very windy day and on a couple of occasions Maria almost lost her veil. At one point we watched as another brides veil made its way across the sky. Then it was off to Downing College for the wedding reception and wedding breakfast. The transport was in the form of an old vintage saloon, what a lovely way to travel. At Downing College the guests were waiting with confetti and showered the couple as soon as they stepped from the car. As always the staff at Downing had done a top notch job of making everything perfect. The dinning hall looked amazing and the food was delicious. In the evening the music was some of the best I have heard at a wedding. The DJ came over from Ibiza and played some rocking tunes. What ever he cost it was worth it. I stayed late and enjoyed the party and was sorry to leave. I always enjoy photographing university weddings.
