Wedding photography Corpus Christi College Cambridge – Charis & Matt
Wedding photography Corpus Christi College Cambridge – by Jinjabird. A few days before Christmas I photographed Charis and Matt’s wedding at Corpus Christi College Cambridge. They had got married earlier in the year in Malaysia and had decided to have their wedding celebrations at Corpus Christi College Cambridge were they both studied. The day started with a Chinese wedding Tea Ceremony at Matt’s parents house which involved the receiving of gifts from their family. Then everyone traveled to Corpus Christi College in Cambridge to meet up with their friends for the wedding reception. I totally approved of Charis’s choice of food for the wedding breakfast which consisted of some fantastic looking fish. Fish has always been my favorite food and one that I never see on the menu at weddings. In fact I think this is the first time i have seen it served in over 300 weddings that I have photographed!. After the meal there were speeches and a ring ceremony and then the guests made their way to nearby Leckhampton House for the evening wedding reception. Everyone traveled by coach and arrived together which was a good idea and saved people getting lost on route. After the cutting of the wedding cake it was time to start dancing. Caeli bands are becoming very popular at weddings and Charis and Matt had chosen one to provide the evening entertainment for theirs. I loved Charis’s choice of wedding shoes which were ideal for the crazy dancing that took place. This was my last wedding of 2016 and a great memory to finish on.
