Same sex weddings Bedfordfordshire – Erika & Min
Same sex weddings Bedfordfordshire – by Jinjabird. I had a cracking day with Erika and Min who were married on Saturday at Bedford registry office. Erika got ready at home with her brides-maids and best women before travelling into Bedford to meet Min and the guests at the Town Hall. Min wore a smart blue suit and looked very excited as she waited for Erika to appear. Erika and her dad arrived in a white London style Taxi and were greeted by the brides-maids. I loved the colours they had chosen for their dresses and gerbera flowers. Erika was led in and down the aisle by her dad to be met by Min who was grinning from ear to ear. After the ceremony everyone gathered next to the river for some confetti and then it was all aboard a London Route-master bus for champagne and the short journey back to the brides house. The back garden had been been made ready for a festival style wedding with a marquee, food stands, bar and live music. It was a scorching hot afternoon just perfect to be outside and enjoy the celebrations. Very chilled and relaxed. No formalities of a traditional wedding day to get in the way of things just lots of good fun and laughter. The band were the best I have heard at a wedding and played the music for Erika and Min’s first dance which was outside surrounded by all their family and friends. Then it was into the marquee for the disco and to finish the evening off an indomitable performance by “The Drag With No Name”. Absolutely perfect for such an occasion. Well done Erika and Min you really got it right.
