Wedding photographer Hinchingbrooke House – Jo & Ben
Wedding photographer Hinchingbrooke House – by Jinjabird. On what must have been the hottest day of the year so far, Jo and Ben were married at the beautiful Hinchingbrooke House. I don’t know how the men managed to stay in their jackets. Only mad dogs and Englishmen as the saying goes. I have photographed at the House many times and it was great to return on such a lovely day. Jo got ready with her bridesmaids upstairs whilst Ben and the ushers were putting the finishing touches to their button holes in garden. After all the guests had arrived and were waiting in the ceremony room Jo came down stairs and met her dad for the first time wearing her dress. Then they made their way to meet Ben. One of my favorite parts of the day is the wedding ceremony. I have a very privileged view point at the front of the room and love the expressions on family and friends faces alike at this time. After the service drinks were served on the lawn. Garden games had been provided which were a big hit with everyone. The house has some lovely flower gardens and whilst the guests relaxed with their drinks Jo and Ben took a stroll around. The wedding breakfast took place in the library with the best mans speech featuring a stuffed hamster. Some of Jo’s friends from university played the music for the first dance. And as usual, after a few rounds of shots the really crazy dancing began.
