Wedding photographer Kings College Cambridge – Rachel & Paul
Wedding photographer Kings College Cambridge – by Jinjabird. I had an amazing day photographing the wedding of Rachel and Paul recently who got married in the stunning Chapel at Kings College in Cambridge. Paul and his ushers traveled to Kings College by bicycle whilst Rachel and her bridesmaids arrived in style by Rolls Royce. Rachel had her home town choir sing during the ceremony and also some beautiful music was played by a string ensemble. After the ceremony everyone enjoyed packed lunches in the sunshine amidst the stunning surroundings of the College grounds before some crazy fun punting on the river. I cant believe that no one got wet, I was sure at least one wedding guest would fall in! Next it was onto the reception which was held at the nearby Downing College. This is one of my favorites out of all the Cambridge College wedding venues and one that I really enjoy photographing at. As Rachel and Paul had chosen to get married at 11AM it gave them loads of time to enjoy the sunny weather and talk to all their guests before it was time to eat. I cant emphasize enough how sensible it is getting married early and having more time to really enjoy your wedding day. The staff at Downing College had done a great job setting out the hall for the wedding breakfast and I loved Rachel’s wedding cake. In the evening Rachel and Paul had decided on a Kayleigh band to provide the music. A wedding Kayleigh always goes down well with everyone and is a good choice for the night time reception. For me it was the perfect end to another fantastic wedding day and as always it seemed to finish all too early.
