Wedding photography Moggerhanger Park – Nicky and Richard
Wedding Photography Moggerhanger Park – by Jinjabird. I had a great time on Saturday photographing the wedding of Nicky and Richard. They had chosen the lovely Moggerhanger Park to host their day. The venue is set in over 30 acres of parkland and at this time of year baby lambs can be seen playing in the fields. When I arrived Nicky was with her bridesmaids getting ready. So I spent some time taking in the house and surroundings. The florist had done a beautiful job with the wedding flowers. The floor of the ceremony room was adorned with rose petals and the winding staircase was wrapped in Ivy. Richard was in great spirits when he arrived with his groomsman followed shortly after by the wedding guests. A guitarist played and sang during parts of the ceremony and Richard punched the air with happiness after his vowels. It had been overcast all morning but we were treated to a few minutes of sunshine just long enough to nip outside for some photographs. Nicky’s dress looked fantastic as she strolled in the garden with Richard. The speeches were held on the stairs which gave everyone a good view of the best man and farther of the bride as they recalled various embarrassing tails. Afterwards everyone retired to the beautiful dining room for their wedding breakfast. After dinner the guests relaxed in the various rooms throughout the venue enjoying their surroundings until it was time for the first dance. This was the start of the evening disco where we were all treated to some lively dancing.
